01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
02 - Place Brussels sprouts in a large mixing bowl. Add olive oil, kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder if desired. Toss until evenly coated.
03 - Add chopped bacon to bowl and toss gently to distribute.
04 - Spread Brussels sprouts and bacon mixture evenly over the prepared baking sheet.
05 - Roast in the oven for 20 minutes, stirring once halfway through to promote even browning.
06 - Drizzle pure maple syrup over roasted Brussels sprouts and bacon. Toss gently to coat.
07 - Return to oven and roast for an additional 5 minutes, until vegetables and bacon are caramelized and crispy.
08 - Transfer onto a serving dish and garnish with extra black pepper if desired. Serve immediately while hot.
