# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It tastes like dessert for breakfast, but the Greek yogurt and fruit keep it actually nourishing and guilt-free
  • The gingerbread spices fill your kitchen with that cozy holiday aroma that makes everything feel special
  • You can make it in stages, so there's no last-minute stress when you're serving guests or feeding yourself before work
02 -
  • The granola will only stay crispy if you let it cool completely before layering it with the yogurt. I learned this the hard way by layering too early and ending up with soft, sad granola
  • Store your cooled granola separately from the yogurt and apples. It keeps crispy for up to 5 days in an airtight container, which means you can make breakfast for the whole week without any extra effort on morning-of
03 -
  • Make a double batch of granola and store it in an airtight container. You'll have it ready for parfaits all week, and it also makes an excellent gift when packaged in a pretty jar with a label
  • The secret to perfectly roasted apples is cutting them into similar-sized pieces so they roast evenly. Uneven apples means some get soft before others are done
