01 - Place the olive oil and sliced garlic in a small saucepan.

03 - Remove from heat and allow the oil to cool completely.
04 - Strain the oil through a fine mesh sieve into a sterilized jar or bottle. Discard or reserve the garlic slices for topping if desired.
